GROUP INFORMATION

We can seat up to 10 persons at one table in our parlor dining room. Open lunch or tea menu is available and an 18 % gratuity will be added for parties greater than 6 persons. The following information on this page is for parties of more than 10.

PARTIES UP TO 10

At 10:00 am or 3:45 PM, on weekdays or Sundays we are able to accommodate groups of 11 to 14. .  Groups will have use of a single table in the dining room for 2 hours.  The minimum charge is $28 per person.  Hostess may select our special Group Tea, any of our Afternoon Tea Sets (Light Tea Sets are not available) or may arrange a set luncheon menu. If your group participation diminishes to less than 11 attendees, the group tea is no longer available.  The minimum charge for this level is $308.  See CANCELLATIONS below for more information.

At 10:00 am or 3:45 PM, on weekdays or Sundays we are able to accommodate groups of 25 to 40.  Groups will have exclusive use of all three dining rooms for 2 ½ hours.  The minimum charge is $28 per person.  Hostess may select our special Group Tea, any of our Afternoon Tea Sets (Light Tea Sets are not available) or may arrange a set luncheon menu. If your group participation diminishes to less than 25 attendees, we must have two weeks notice, so that we can sell tables in the other dining rooms. The minimum charge for this level is $700.   See CANCELLATIONS below for more information.

GROUP TEA SET

If your number of guests drops below the level you’ve selected, please let us know prior to two weeks (14 days) before your event, so that we may fill the tables/dining rooms with other patrons. With less than two weeks notice, we are unable to waive the listed minimum charges.

Cancellation of the event must be made at least 14 days prior to the event. If you must cancel within the two weeks prior to the event, there will be a 25% reneging fee for 7-13 days notice, 50% reneging fee for 4-6 days notice, and 75% reneging fee for 1-3 days notice.

CANCELLATIONS

The day before the event, the hostess must call with the number of expected guests for the final billing count. Once we have this number, this is how many persons we prepare food for and charge for on the final bill. The food for any guests who do not come will be boxed for the hostess. If we do not get a call with the number of expected guests, we will use the highest of the estimated number of guests given to us on the group guarantee form.  

AMENDING NUMBER OF GUESTS

 Large parties will be presented with one check. For non-hosted events, we suggest the contact person collect the fee from each attendee as they reserve to prevent no-shows or last minute cancellations.
