© 2016 The Secret Garden
We will no longer be offering our luncheon menu on Saturdays or Sundays in order to more efficiently produce the foods required for the much more popular afternoon teas. We have added several new “tea sets” that are more similar to a “lunch” & have a lower price point than our current afternoon tea menu. We will offer gluten-free tea sets as well. WEEKEND MENU
We will offer classes again in the fall, so check in early September
We have a great selection of vintage/antique dishes, silverware, glassware and linens available to rent for special events. We offer English bone china and American Farmhouse china, in both traditional matched sets and mismatched groupings. Share your ideas with us and we can help you style the event of your dreams. VINTAGE CHINA
Our 2016 Tea Tours are sold out, but we are actively working on the details for trips in the Spring of 2017 to the Deep South (Charleston and Savannah), in May to France, in June to England, and in the Fall of 2017 to New England. Stay tuned or like us on facebook for updates on future tours!
IN HISTORIC HERBERT WILLIAMS HOUSE
The Secret Garden is located in a beautiful Victorian Mansion in Sumner, WA. The charm of the original Queen Anne and Italianate architecture provides an elegant, yet warm ambiance in which to enjoy a scrumptious lunch or a traditional English-style Tea Set served on a 3-tier stand. Our gift shop is stocked with tea-time treasures and a variety of delightful gifts, fanciful jewelry and clothing, and charming accents for your home.
We have a gorgeous selection of lacy, romantic tops and dresses that are perfect for summer parties; great little handbags and wallets, filmy little summer scarves and even some comfy bamboo capri pants. Of course we have lots of tea time favorites too, with antique/vintage china arriving weekly.
Enjoy a fun afternoon exploring booths set up by vintage, antique and upcycled home décor dealers and select artisans at a “french flea market” inspired vintage market in our garden. We will be setting up a booth serving lunch and tea and our pastry chef will be tempting guests with some of her sweet treats.
